Thank you for your interest in joining us on our trip to Moundsville in 2008! We are extending this invitation to the FIRST 10 guests to make payment. We will make a decision at a later date whether or not to increase this number.

Year Closed: 1995
The Former West Virginia Penitentiary (Moundsville Prison) was home to some of West Virginia's worst criminals throughout its history. During its early years much of the prison was sustained by the work of the prisoners themselves.
Scene to almost 1000 deaths the prison has also seen riots and escape attempts. For a short period the prison was home to Charles Manson until he was transferred to a higher security prison.
Now home to the supposed spirits of previous guards and prisoners, Moundsville Prison is sure to strike fear in anyone who approaches the Gothic structure nestled in a quiet West Virginia neighborhood.
Our investigation will begin promptly at midnight and conclude at 6am. We will have free roam to investigate all areas that are currently deemed safe.

We will also reserve a hotel in St. Clairsville Ohio which is approximately 10 minutes from the prison. Each hotel room will be booked with 2 persons per room. If you require a smoking room please contact us at: moundsville@southernohioparanormal.org
We will plan several meetings prior to the event so we can talk about the investigation and answer any questions you may have. Please let us know if you will be unable to attend any meeting we schedule, as we will be providing important information.
